Key Responsibilities:
Formulation Development:
Create and develop new supplement formulas based on scientific research, market trends, and company objectives.
Ingredient Sourcing:
Identify and evaluate potential ingredient suppliers, ensuring the highest quality and purity standards.
Product Optimization:
Continuously review and refine existing formulations for efficacy, cost-efficiency, and market demand.
Research & Analysis:
Stay updated with the latest scientific research related to nutritional supplementation to inform formulation decisions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the production, quality assurance, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of all formulations, ingredient sources, and testing results.
Quality Assurance:
Work alongside QA teams to ensure that final products meet or exceed established safety and efficacy standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., Masters or Ph.
- 25 years of experience in supplement formulation or a related role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supplement ingredients, their interactions, and their effects on human health.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other industry regulations.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Amazon is an asset.
- Professional certifications related to nutrition or supplement formulation.
