Position Summary:

Working with the executive team, CEO, CFO, and COO, you will be in charge of our AR & AP. In addition, you will be involved with the management of our cash flow and forecasting. This is a wide-ranging position requiring someone who is highly detail-oriented, meticulously organized, and understands numbers and financial models.


A fundamental part of this role will be to maintain our company's financial records using QBO and support our supply chain team with financial oversight.


You'll be working alongside a dynamic team of talented and collaborative thinkers who thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.


  • Oversee and maintain company financial records using QuickBooks Online and google spreadsheets
  • Manage cash flow and cash flow forecasts
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Communicate with suppliers to negotiate terms
  • Assist the supply chain team with forecasting payments
  • Normalizing financial statements
  • Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Liaise with 3rd party Accountants, perform Yearend and assist with Review engagement

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  • 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
  • Postsecondary education in an accounting or business program
  • Possess an accounting degree or working towards a CPA
  • Excellent excel and spreadsheet skills.
  • Selfstarter that takes initiative, makes decisions, and provides clear direction to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and adapt to changing business needs.
  • A hunger and motivation to drive meaningful growth.
  • Solutionsoriented mindset and eagerness to identify and tackle new business challenges with urgency.
