With a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering high-quality craftsmanship, we manufacture luxury level solid wood entrance systems.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Finishing Carpenter to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Position Summary:
As a Finishing Carpenter you will play a crucial role in ensuring the completion of projects to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
You will be responsible for executing finishing carpentry tasks that add the final touches and aesthetic appeal to our construction projects.
If you are a dedicated and skilled carpenter with a passion for creating beautifully finished entrance systems, we want to hear from you.
Benefits:
$30 - $35 per hour based on experience and skills.
HCSA - after successful completion of 3-month probationary period.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finishing carpentry.
- Proficient in the use of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Experience in coping baseboard is required
- Experience in creating biscuit joints is essential
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches
- Physically fit with the ability to lift pounds.
- Experience in renovations, residential framing and new home builds is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations in Ontario.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Create custom door projects in a factory setting
- Perform tasks such as sanding, staining, and varnishing to achieve desired finishes.
- Work with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets and goals
- Set an example for excellent workmanship.
- Collaborate with the project team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in the planning and estimation of materials required for finishing tasks.
- Make onthespot decisions to resolve any finishingrelated issues that may arise.
Pay:
$30.00-$35.00 per hour
