The instructor must teach all key concepts of medical terminology plus the following.

Identify and interpret common prefixes, and suffixes used in medical terms.

Determine the meaning of stem words to break down complex medical terms and their components to decipher the meaning.

Use common medical abbreviations in typical medical documents to interpret a physician's shortened notes.

Must hold a valid LPN or RN license with the province of BC

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
$30.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
