Job Title: Medical Office Assistant Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Office Assistant Instructor to join our team at Coquitlam Continuing Education. As an MOA instructor, you will be responsible for delivering lessons in Medical Terminology and/or Medical Office Procedures, Billing, & Clinical Practice to students in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach medical office assistant skills to students
  • Conduct assessments and provide feedback to students
  • Ensure a positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Teaching or training experience
  • Experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a related healthcare role
  • Experience with Medical Billing and EMR
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Patient and empathetic approach
