CKF Inc. is a leader in Canada's pulp molding industry, with plants located in British Columbia, Ontario, Nova Scotia and the states of Iowa and Texas, producing products for packaging, retail, and food service.
Partnered with Meridia, CKF is looking for a Procurement Coordinator who will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of goods while maintaining excellent relationships internally and externally. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth of the company, to work across all levels of the organization, and play an essential role in the operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in processing purchase orders, reviewing order details for accuracy, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, monitor stock availability, and assist in inventory reconciliation Participate in quality control processes by inspecting incoming products, ensuring they meet established quality standards and specifications Keep meticulous records of procurement activities, contracts, and invoices for accurate reporting and compliance purposes Assist in analyzing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall procurement processes Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the procurement process Ensure adherence to all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards related to procurement practicesYour qualifications include:
Post secondary education or equivalent experience gained from a purchasing background Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain in a manufacturing setting is preferred Familiarity with procurement software and systems Effective interpersonal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Proficient in Microsoft SuiteAttributes:
