Job Description Summary

Overview:
Responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of products and services to internal customers. Has either developed specialized skills or is multi skilled in variety of work processes or cross functional activities.

Acts as a working team lead by performing job duties, coordinating the work of others, ensure training and onboarding requirements are met and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.


Core Accountabilities:

Business Expertise and Leadership:
Provide support to team in areas of experience. Oversee the day-to-day activities with direction from the Area Manager. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. The Team Lead role will perform/plan/organize work of the team based on leadership direction. Promote necessary sense of team urgency and accountability to support team to make decisions and achieve results.

Ensure team is trained in all processes as well as ensuring that all safety and quality requirements are adhered to.


Delivering Solutions:
Identify and provide solutions to moderately complex problems or infrequently occurring problems by referencing procedures. May be required to gather information to help arrive at an appropriate solution by performing simple administrative tasks. Required to cooperatively work with other team members to achieve building metrics.

Tasks will be focused on team management, processing goals, co-ordination with the other departments (Shipping, Sorter IC, and Receiving.) Primary focus will be on coordinating PMV Operators and GLs head count on the processes of put aways, re-warehousing, and selection.

However, will be allocating time to ensure accurate goals are met daily as well.

Impact:
Ensure all Nike full-time employees and temporary support are trained and engaged in all processes and/or activities. Develop and foster relationships cross functionally within the facility. Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions.

Aligns with North America team to integrate and align on objectives, adopting and sharing learnings, best practices, and training progress.


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1+ years relevant work experience.
  • Have experience driving PMVs (OP, Reach, Dock Stocker, and Walkie).
  • Required to perform a wide variety of tasks which may include balancing of head count to ensure all functions with is the department is filled, daily information board, reporting disable PMVs, etc.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work cross functionally.
  • Flexibility will be required.
