ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define, gather, and assess opportunities and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
  • Identify, create, and implement solutions to meet business needs or solve customer's problems.
  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions.
  • Provide documentation and training for stakeholders.
  • Assist customers with maintenance of their Bizerba retail products.
  • Test and evaluate new technologies and identify trends in industry.
  • Work closely with sales, service, and engineers to communicate and monitor progress.
  • Support major retail projects from presales to postimplementation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or IT, or equivalent 4year experience working with computer systems.
  • Reliable, selfmotivated, and detailoriented.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problemsolving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong computer networking skills, both wired and wireless technologies.
  • Can work with SQL databases, web services and various file formats.
  • Experience in Windows systems, Linux systems, and Docker.
  • Extensive experience in programming, coding and scripting in languages such as Javascript, Java, C#.
  • Ability to travel on short notice up to 30% travel time including international travel.
