The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. We're looking for innovative team players ready to take some of the most well-known entertainment brands in the country to the next level.
Bell Media's Strategic Insights team is looking for a forward-thinking individual that is able to apply their managerial, analytical & creative skills to enhance our unique digital & traditional assets. This person must demonstrate strong leadership to influence strategy and tactical execution, in collaboration with Bell Media stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a team with diverse and specialized skills, capable of effective and responsible use of multiple data sets, to develop insights that solve problems and shape business strategy and execution.
- Support the French Video & Audio Content, Sales, Digital, Distribution, Marketing and Communication teams by:
- Using established KPIs, be able to quantify the health of our media assets against relevant targets and historical benchmarks, and identify drivers.
- Studying media trends, identifying gaps and opportunities, and recommending strategic or tactical changes
- Leveraging a variety of tools & databases, to grow understanding of trends in media consumption and monetization
- Assessing impact of high priority business strategies and tactics on media consumption and monetization, and providing a data insights based POV to stakeholders.
- Identifying gaps in business intelligence and recommend data solutions to fill those gaps.
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Intelligence specialization or related field
- Experience as senior analyst/manager in media/marketing research
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to develop high-level talent
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivots, formulas & macros) & PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence effectively peers and internal stakeholders including senior leadership.
- Ability to present ideas clearly and confidently, and demonstrate expertise in media intelligence.
- Good understanding of industry-standard media measurement & data visualization tools such as Numeris (Infosys), comScore, mParticle, microStrategy
