About the Role & Responsibilities:

In this role, you will create and lead a Global Innovation & Future of Work Program in Operations. Lead innovation: create, coordinate and facilitate innovation programs and workshops to identify opportunities, formulate experiments, and advance internal initiatives for digital transformation, including especially use of Generative AI, process excellence, and organizational readiness, and manage the existing Business Experiments Program. The role will partner closely with Operations Data Science and Digital Transformation leaders in Global Operations and REPH to refine current ideation pipelines, and will manage the innovation pipeline in a proprietary tracking tool. Manage change: create and implement a structured change management system in Global Operations, working closely with leadership teams and the Program Management Office. Bridge organizational siloes: coordinate and globally harmonize the activities of digital transformation, digital experience, and operations excellence leaders who report into our global functional organizations as well as adjacent product and technology organizations. Prepare our people: manage training and certification programs that prepare our people for the Future of Work, leveraging existing programs across LNLP, such as the Agility Center of Excellence, GDS Learning, and the Ed Ops Digital Transformation program. Shape our culture: promote an inclusive, diverse, and psychologically safe culture of learning, collaboration and agility across our global workforce, and foster a growth mindset throughout the organization. Tell our story: develop and maintain metrics and reporting frameworks on the Program, and report on a regular cadence to leadership. This may include presenting from time to time to senior executive stakeholders up to and including the CEO. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, and the latest trends, research and best practices in leadership, future of work, business agility, and digital transformation, and leverage them to inform and continuously improve our organizational excellence and future of work programs. This role will require 10% to 20% travel, including domestic and international locations. This role may be either home based or office based.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Master's degree or higher preferred. Proven track record of success leading meaningful, measurable change in a complex, highly matrixed and global organization, which will preferably include developing and leading initiatives such as digital transformation, organizational excellence and resilience. Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and organizational communication, collaboration and influencing skills, with proven experience using data to drive decisions. Strong written, verbal, communication and presentation skills, including expertise with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, and Teams. Excellent facilitator, both virtually and in person. Excellent organizational skills and awareness, and ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders from junior employees to senior leaders, including HR, internal business, product, and technology partners, and external vendors and stakeholders. Strong knowledge and understanding of emerging technology and ways it can be used, and the ability to explain it clearly to non technical staff. Highly creative, innovative and agile mindset and approach to learning and development, and passionate about developing people and helping teams achieve their full potential. Experience preferred in one or more Operations workstreams (editorial operations, customer operations, fulfillment, or data, analytics, and services) and/or product or project management. Professional certifications preferred in one or more organizational excellence skills, which may include change management, business agility, digital transformation, process excellence/Lean Six Sigma, and project/program management.
