Responsibilities:
- Be a part of our Wealth Management Canada IT Business Application Support team in Toronto
- Interact very closely with front office users and associated Operations teams covering all of Canada
- You would have a high level of day to day interaction with the business stakeholders at all levels
- Diagnose system problems, define and coordinate the implementation of solutions individually and with other development and support teams
- Coordinate with different internal teams and/or external parties to conduct and manage special events such as BCP tests, infrastructure change weekends, data Centre maintenance
- Promote the overall stability of the systems through system monitoring and implementation of best practices to maintain production environment
- Conduct problem reviews with the relevant IT streams
- Responsible for team's process in incident and problem management according to ITIL standards and uphold high standards for timely issue resolution.
- Act as a strong gate keeper to the production environment and assess change impact, risk, and performance.
- You would have a high level of day to day interaction with the business stakeholders at all levels
- Diagnose system problems, define and coordinate the implementation of solutions individually and with other development and support teams

- Knowledge of ITIL incident and problem management**:
- Solid Windows knowledge, Linux knowledge is a plus.**:
- Basic knowledge in relational databases (Sybase, Oracle) / query (SQL)**:
- confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences**:
- experience in production system monitoring and scheduling tools**:
- operational knowledge of Middleware platforms (MQ, IIS, tomcat)**:
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills**:
- Ability to support and deliver a highquality service to the business**
Job Types: Fulltime, Fixed term contract
Salary:
$70.00-$75.00 per hour
