As a member of the Education Technology and Media Services team, within the Education Technology Innovation Portfolio of UHN Digital AUDIO-VISUAL ASSISTANT II
duties will include:

  • Setting-up and dismantling audiovisual equipment to departments and locations throughout University Health Network; potential for offsite at other Toronto Hospitals / Hotels
  • Support a wide variety of AV equipment for staging / conference room installations
  • Streaming video / content; videoconferencing and web based collaborative software
  • Video and Photography Production
  • Troubleshooting during meetings / events if problems occur
  • Maintaining audiovisual equipment, audiovisual systems in good working order
  • Performing room maintenance responsibilities
  • Maintaining an uptodate inventory of audiovisual equipment designated to meet the audiovisual needs of the Hospital
  • Performing other related audio visual responsibilities consistent with the job classification, as required
  • Performing crossfunctional duties, as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade XII or recognized equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized Audiovisual program is preferred
  • At least two (2) years related audiovisual experience
  • Experience working in a Health Care environment is preferred
  • Previous experience with Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Video Production / Editing is preferred
  • Membership in any IT Association is preferred
  • Very good customer services and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
