Flight Operation Quality Assurance Manager

Nolinor Aviation is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Manager for the flight operations department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and support procedures to ensure compliance with the Company Operations Manual and regulatory requirements;
  • Maintain a quality assurance program for all flight operations functions;
  • Identify and evaluate quality issues during all phases of operation and initiate, recommend and provide solutions;
  • Complete internal and external audits;
  • Prepare checklists and other audit related documentation;
  • Review and evaluate revisions to update company operations manuals;
  • Initiate actions for quality improvements;
  • Manage the Flight Data Monitoring Program;
  • Support the Safety Management Systems program (SMS);
  • Assure the liaison with any external quality assurance agencies which may affect air operator operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Advanced knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Industry and the applicable regulations;
  • Advanced knowledge of Safety Management Systems;
  • Auditing experience;
  • Strong skills in technical writing of manuals, policies and procedures;
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement hazard mitigation;
  • Project management experience;
  • Experience in analysis of flight data monitoring.
  • Bilingualism, both oral and written;
  • Auditor Certification, an asset;
  • University degree is an asset;
  • Honesty, diplomatic and openminded;
  • Resourcefulness and team spirit;
  • Good analytical and reasoning skills.
