Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Experience in providing administrative support to senior/ executive staff, including scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments
- Excellent written communication skills, including drafting, formatting, editing, and proofreading correspondence
- Experience managing correspondence and maintaining filing systems
- Experience handling sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong verbal communication skills with both the public and staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills and political acumen
- Proven organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative
- Desired:
- Experience with Activities and Issues Management System (AIMS) or Shared Information Management System (SIMS)
- Experience in the Manitoba Legislative building environment
Duties:
As the administrative assistant to the Deputy Minister, you will report to the Executive Assistant. Your responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and preparing reports and submissions with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
