About the Position:

We are seeking a Human Resources Consultant eager to gain experience in HR consulting to support our national Claims team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager in Calgary, you will work collaboratively with our HR team across different regions. This role is perfect for those wanting to expand their HR expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR guidance and support, ensuring compliance with legislation and company values.
  • Assist in conflict management and investigations.
  • Analyze data and offer solutions for HR issues.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to the leadership team.
  • Make salary recommendations based on best practices.
  • Support HR initiatives and process improvement.
  • Contribute to the HR Claims team for Corporate & Atlantic Claims.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management with 3 years of HR experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and influential skills.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge in various HR areas.
  • CHRP and/or CHRL designation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Bilingualism required for Quebec candidates.
