As a Land Representative at LandSolutions, you'll be at the forefront of conducting field work, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and our high operating standards.

Responsibilities:

Internal:

  • Responsible for offering Land & RightofWay ("ROW") acquisition services.
  • Provide regular reporting with respect to the status of projects to which they are assigned.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in all correspondence you are responsible for.
  • Follow up on landrelated issues as needed, by liaising with landowners, thirdparty land consultants, and contractors.
  • Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups, including Operations, Projects, Law, Environment, and Public and Regulatory bodies, to coordinate land activities.
  • Take care and action to protect your safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your actions or omissions.
  • Ensure proper use of safety equipment, clothing, and devices.
  • Comply with LandSolutions policies and procedures, applicable laws, and the OH & S Act.
  • Travel as required to meet with different partners and visit field sites, including regional offices.

External:

  • Shows initiative regarding continued selfimprovement and education.

Qualifications

  • Experience in related field, land, realestate, technician, surveying, appraisal, or rightofway experience in progressive roles.
  • Degree or diploma in land management/administration or related field would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to interpret applicable legislation, regulations, and processes.
  • Being familiar with, and having the ability to interpret legal plans, legal documentation, titles, deeds, and engineering drawings would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in influencing and negotiating in critical situations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and proficient in English, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work independently and build relationships at all levels of the organization and a teamoriented attitude.
  • A valid GDL driver's license and vehicle.
