The Risk Management Lead ensures the establishment and delivery of strategies for standardization, replication and continuity by leveraging global best practices for risk management.

In this role, you will lead the Risk Management team to:
- Execute the risk study work plans for risk identification, treatment, monitoring and improvement for major growth projects
- Provide leadership and plans to ensure the studies and projects comply with risk management processes and standards
- Lead the communication and embedment of Risk Procedures and plans through education and training
- Support Project and Functional Leadership to maintain an effective control environment, with consideration to both efficiency and effectiveness for control design, verification and testing
- Create, analyze and report information from the corporate risk system to thoughtfully identify areas of improvement, bright spots, alignment and discord
- Organize project risk deep dives with project leadership, risk owners and ensure assurance/audit information is available
- Identify, engage and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the voice of the customer is incorporated in delivery of Risk Management services
Work Location:
Downtown, Saskatoon; 40 hours per week, parking is provided on-site.
About You:
- Post secondarydegree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- Certification in Risk Management is considered an asset
- Exceptional leadership capabilities with the ability to lead and influence a focused, engaged and highperforming team
- Experience in a stakeholder management role, with an aptitude for developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships at all levels
- Proven ability to influence executive leadership in adopting recommendations improve risk management and risk culture
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to confidently translate key issues to critical stakeholders
