Cashier (Seasonal)

The Cashier, as a part of the food and beverage team, is responsible for assisting customers during the ordering and check-out process as well as assist in delivering food, if required.

• Handle cash and interact machine transactions, using a POS system.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Conduct basic daily cash out procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance.
• Restock and maintain selfservice areas.
• Assist in cleanliness and sanitation of concession, dining area, lounge and other areas as required.
• Organize, and store goods following FIFO.
• Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required.

• Excellent customer service skills, with previous experience in a customer service role considered an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic math and computer POS skills.
• ProServe Liquor course will be considered an asset.
• Maintain a personable and positive attitude when dealing with customers.
• Ability to perform job tasks in safe and efficient manner.
• Must have a flexible schedule with the availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Obtain a vulnerable sector check.
• Class 5 license will be considered an asset.
