**Function**:
The Cashier, as a part of the food and beverage team, is responsible for assisting customers during the ordering and check-out process as well as assist in delivering food, if required.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Handle cash and interact machine transactions, using a POS system.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Conduct basic daily cash out procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance.
- Restock and maintain self-service areas.
- Assist in cleanliness and sanitation of concession, dining area, lounge and other areas as required.
- Organize, and store goods following FIFO.
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service skills, with previous experience in a customer service role considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic math and computer POS skills.
- ProServe Liquor course will be considered an asset.
- Maintain a personable and positive attitude when dealing with customers.
- Ability to perform job tasks in safe and efficient manner.
- Must have a flexible schedule with the availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Obtain a vulnerable sector check.
- Class 5 license will be considered an asset.

**Working Conditions**:

- High customer volume and fast paced environment.
- May be required to work longer shifts, especially in high season.
- May be required to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- May push, pull, or lift items weighing up to 25lbs.
