The Opportunity:


As a PLAYcare Instructor you will be responsible for the safety and care of children between the ages of 1 year and 9 years old.

Duties include checking participants in/out, leading children in various activities, providing exceptional customer service, light cleaning duties and adhering to Health & Safety legislation, guidelines and procedures.


Children's Cooking leaders guide participants through preparing a variety of recipes in our Active Living Kitchen ensuring participants follow safety guidelines and develop fundamental kitchen skills.

Leaders are responsible for planning and completing light cleaning duties. Leaders will also have opportunities to lead children's recreation programs for ages 3-12Y.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with children is required.
  • Experience working in a childcare facility and/or planning and leading children in games, crafts, cooking, or activities are assets.
  • High Five or Food Safety certifications are an asset.
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR C with AED certification is required prior to starting.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and problemsolving skills are necessary.
  • A passion for creating a fun environment and delivering excellent service is essential.

Hours of Work:

Shifts available from January 2, 2023- June 30, 2023 are:
PLAYcare shifts are weekdays from & weekends from 7:45a.m.

12:15p.m.
Children's Cooking programs run weekdays 4-7pm and weekends from 10am-1pm.

Compensation:

Starting at $15.37 per hour
