Job description

  • Dispatch & coordinate the daytoday operations
  • Create efficient truckloads based on logistics, volume and manpower.
  • Schedule in/out bound shipment from the warehouse
  • Keep a track of inventory of goods
  • Contact customers/dealers to arrange pickups / deliveries
  • General Office administration (scanning, data entry, mailing)
  • Coordinating activities with other offices and Van Line affiliates
  • Initiative to work efficiently with high level of productivity
  • Working knowledge in the Transportation industry
  • Knowledge of North American geography
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solve
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
  • Effective listening and strong communication skills with drivers, customers, and staff
  • Able to work in a fastpaced, detailoriented environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Fluency in verbal/written English
  • Ability to provide weekend oncall support when required
  • Experience in TMW and AltasNet is an asset
  • Experience in Household Goods moving industry is an asset

Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
