Our Banking and Capital Markets Advisory practice in the Montreal office is seeking a Consultant to enhance our Banking offering. We seek professionals who are inquisitive and driven to expand their consulting horizons.

What you will do
As a Consultant in our Banking and Capital Markets Advisory practice, you will utilize your strong business acumen as a vital member of a high-performing team. You will have the opportunity to learn from industry specialists and enhance your skills through the following activities:

  • You will be a forefront figure in our banking solutions ecosystem, utilizing your operational and technical expertise to assess, capture, and communicate complex business issues for our clients.
  • You will develop, design, and optimize comprehensive business solutions that precisely align with organizational requirements.
  • You will foster and strengthen relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders.
  • You will contribute to a varied team of professionals.
  • You will acquire a deep understanding of our clients' business requirements and the banking industry.
  • You will assist in developing proposals and demonstrations in response to potential customer inquiries.

What you bring to the role

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Management/Business Administration, Engineering, Business Information/Technology, Finance, Public Administration, or Data Sciences.
  • 1-3 years of experience in consulting and/or banking services.
  • Experience in project planning and tracking, adept at working with executive stakeholders, and possessing excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify and define issues and devise innovative solutions to address clients' needs clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating collaboration and supportiveness.
  • Sense of accountability in task execution, a drive to realize full potential, and an appreciation for human relationships (clients, potential clients, communities, and the global firm).
  • Openness to learning and exploring new sectors and business functions.

Fluency in written and spoken French is vital. Knowledge of English is essential for interpreting standards, guidelines, laws, and regulations in both languages, as well as for serving both French- and English-speaking clients and collaborating with colleagues across Quebec and Canada.
