Associate Project Manager, Scientific

We are looking for an experienced Associate Project Manager, Scientific . This is a 12-month contract based out of our Toronto head office.
WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
Implement and manage a variety of project-related activities assigned by the Director, Scientific Program Development Support VP, Scientific with administrative and project-related activities Manage the product development life cycle by working with the Scientific Team (R&D, Analytical, Scientific Communications, Clinical, Regulatory, Microbiology, Quality, and Sustainability) to map project scope, deliverables, resource requirements, work plan, budget, and timing for new and existing products. Support the scheduling and coordination of planning activities with stakeholders, department representatives, and consultants Communicate project status, progress, and risks to key stakeholders. Ensure all deviations and risks are communicated and escalated effectively. Perform quality management and administrative duties to ensure efficient operation of the department Ensure project processes are applied consistently, including project plans, issue and risk management, financial management, resourcing, and communications management. Following up on administrative functions in Project Management. Support project management tools Wrike) Manage risks and call out liabilities and other contributing factors that can affect the overall timeline (major downstream affect)Communicate with different stakeholders within the Scientific pillar regarding test completion, pressing tasks/matters. Enforce a standardized process internally to bridge the communication gap between stakeholders in order to hit specific milestones; making sure that all team members understand due dates, impact, etc.
