Job Description:
This position will provide tactical support to Cogeco's Corporate Sustainability Team. The role involves North America wide environmental, social, governance (ESG) data management, analysis and reporting; completion of deliverables within the team's climate work plan, ESG reporting plan and stakeholder engagement and communication plan; and supports the development of a corporate culture that emphasizes the management of our top environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Support the sustainability team in drafting responses to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).- Support the team with environmental, social, governance (ESG) data collection, analysis of our ESG performance; and with internal and external reporting requirements.- Support the team with an employee commuting survey.- Support the sustainability and procurement team with responsible sourcing initiatives (e.g. science-based targets goals, supplier code of conduct and supplier diversity).- Support the Sustainability team with the development or revision of policies and procedures.- Support integration of materiality assessment results into Cogeco's risk management and strategy program.- Monitor best practices in the telecommunications and media industry to identify opportunities for improvement.- Support development of training for sustainability in line with the team's stakeholder engagement and communication plan.- Support curation of presentations for meetings.- Support sustainability requests as they arise.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- ACADEMIC TRAININGCurrently enrolled in a post-graduate degree program in sustainable development.- WORK EXPERIENCENone requiredSTRENGTHSKnowledge of Corporate Sustainability program development and management.-
- ESG Rating ecosystem e.g. S&P, ISS, MSCI, Corporate Knights, UN Global Compact, Refinitiv etc.-
- Familiarity with GRI, TCFD and SASB standards/frameworks.-
- Familiarity with GHG emission calculation methodologies (e.g. GHG Protocol).-
- Familiarity with biodiversity protection/fostering.SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES- Ability to analyze data and trends.- Excellent oral and written communication skills, in English.- Ability to read and write in French is considered an asset.
