  • You will be accountable to resolve escalated customer complaints including those from our Executive Leadership Team and Office of CEO. You will _provide our customers with the best possible service concerning billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints. You will also need to _decision previously completed inquiries where the customer did not agree with resolution, and partner with Legal in response to customer threats of legal action. _

You will be based in our Toronto Office and work in a Hybrid work model

Reporting Relationship:

You will report to the Manager, Investigations Fulfillment

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do:

  • Accountable for customer escalations beyond initial resolutions, managing customer relationship and mitigating organizational impact
  • Collaborate with the Moneris depts. especially Risk and Legal on escalations where legal risk is identified
  • Provide written communication like invoices, letters of explanation and apology to lawyers with trust account debits against Law Society rules, letters of attestation, etc to protect Moneris from negative exposure and further financi al loss.
  • Provide detailed case files to Moneris Executive, legal and Parent Ombudsman offices when needed

Your Moneris Career - What you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field of study
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
  • Minimum 2 + years of experience working with customer escalations
  • 2 + years using negotiation, networking and exceptional communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • Indepth knowledge of Moneris' processes, procedures and practices or those of other payment processing Industry leaders
