Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and materials needed
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood using power tools such as saws, routers, and sanders
  • Assemble cabinets and furniture pieces according to design specifications
  • Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides
  • Ensure all pieces are properly aligned and fit together seamlessly
  • Repair or replace damaged cabinets or furniture components as needed

Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Strong carpentry skills with experience in cabinet making
  • Knowledge of drywall installation techniques
  • Basic electrical knowledge for cabinet lighting installation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
  • Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
  • Experience with heavy lifting and maneuvering large wooden pieces
  • Excellent attention to detail for precise measurements and cuts
  • Familiarity with caulking techniques for seamless joints
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
