BuilTop Property Management provides property management services for co-operative housing, non-profit and private sector residential properties. Our vision statement is to provide professional quality client focused management solutions. Our culture is defined by our core values that help guide and coordinate our everyday activity. Our core values are integrity, respect, quality, and communication.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of BuilTop Property Management, the Housing Administrator will be assigned to a co-operative site to provide day-to-day services to the co-operative's members and its board of directors.
Managing the co-op's finances– Ensuring that the co-op meets its legal obligations
– Maintaining full occupancy of the co-op
– Supporting good governance in the co-op by the board and membership
– Supervision of other co-op staff and contractors
– Ensure Non-profit or Co-op have the resources or access to the resources necessary to achieve their mandates
Minimum 2 – 3 years co-operative or non-profit property administrative experience or equivalent experience
– Knowledge of co-op housing governance and building maintenance
– Effective English oral and written communication skills
– Able to work effectively within a diverse community
– Financially literate with strong property management skills
– Experience managing and supervising staff/contractors
– Community development
– Proficient with Microsoft Office
– Experience liaising with the Agency for Co-op Housing, CMHC, CHF Canada and CHFT is desired
