Position Summary:

Summary
The Payroll Manager organizes and manages all aspects of payroll through the company's payroll system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs payroll and garnishment administration.
  • Coordinates weekly and biweekly payroll process and payment distribution.
  • Provides ad hoc reporting for management, tax and governmental reports.
  • Provides reporting on labor and production information.
  • Processes payment for company incentive programs.
  • Assists in development of financial policies.
  • Provides payroll support and guidance to plants/branches and management.
  • Performs general accounting functions relating to payroll, including operation of the general ledger system, journal entries, and monthend close.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  • Coordinates acquisition integration activity into current payroll system.
  • Performs other tasks or duties as assigned.

Tâches et responsabilités essentielles

  • Effectuer l'administration de la paie et des saisies
  • Coordonner le processus de paie bihebdomadaire et la distribution des paiements.
  • Fournir des rapports pour la direction, les impôts et les rapports gouvernementaux.
  • Fournit des rapports sur les informations relatives à la maind'œuvre et à la production.
  • Traite les paiements pour les programmes d'incitation de l'entreprise.
  • Fournit un soutien et des conseils en matière de paie aux usines/succursales et à la direction.
  • Exécute les fonctions de comptabilité générale liées à la paie, y compris l'exploitation du système de grand livre, les écritures de journal et la clôture du mois.
  • Maintenir la sécurité financière en respectant les contrôles internes.
  • Coordonne l'activité d'intégration des acquisitions dans le système de paie actuel. Effectue d'autres tâches ou fonctions qui lui sont confiées.

Education and Experience
College Diploma in Business or Accounting and 3-4 years work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
