What you'll do FILM 323 Queer Cinema is a lecture-based course examining contmporary, cross-cultural queer cinema in the mainstream studio, independent and international film industries. Special emphasis is given to the relationship between queer cinema and the global film community. What you'll bring The successful candidate will have: A Master's Degree in Film Studies or a field relevant to course subject matter. Minimum of 5 years of instructional experience at the post-secondary level. In-depth knowledge of, and experience teaching the history of LGBTQ2S+ cinema. Actively involved in the production of film or related media as part of their creative/academic practice. Independent or Film Industry Credits appropriate to their creative/academic practice. Previous experience working and collaborating within a large and diverse team is required.
