Job Summary


The Speech-Language Pathologist provides inpatient assessment and therapeutic services to acute, rehab and complex care adult patients within the hospital setting.


Qualifications

  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Professional selfdevelopment in accordance with CASLPO regulations
  • Clinical experience in acute inpatient care preferred
  • Experience in assessment, treatment and management of dysphagia and communication disorders preferred
  • Experience in VFSS and FEES is an asset
  • Champions patients centered care
  • Works collaboratively with interprofessional team members
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated problem assessment skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills
