About the role


As a member of the risk management team, the Risk Coordinator will play a critical role in the prequalification of subcontractors to ensure that we are aligning the unique expertise and experience of each subcontractor with the specific requirements of our projects.


As a Risk Coordinator at Graham you will:

  • Complete risk assessments, including financial analysis, of potential subcontractors to ensure that they have the experience, operational capacity and financial resources required to work with Graham.
  • Support the administration of our subcontractor default insurance program.
  • Maintain strong relationships and open communication with internal project teams promote awareness of risk management practices and procedures.
  • Work closely with corporate supply chain team to coordinate prequalification process and requirements.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with subcontractors with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
  • Respond to questions from internal and external sources regarding the prequalification and approval process.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in risk management, supply chain management, accounting, finance or similar businessrelated field.
  • CRM professional designation an asset.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in risk management, underwriting (surety or commercial) or supply chain management role.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain standards of accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Previous knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis an asset.
  • Construction industry experience considered an asset.
