Job Summary
You will servicing our client in the Ancaster, Brantford, Kitchener area in Ontario. There are several plants, one truck at each plant.
You are required to have an android phone that supports the Fortigo app where you will be getting your daily assignments, in addition, to updating the shunt app as well.

Responsibilities and Duties

On-site in yard Shunting

30 to 35 moves on average per shift:

Transfers of loads to the other plants:

Day-to-day activities include: updating Fortigo app, completing paperwork and moving vehicles to assigned locations/dock doors:

Updating shunting app with each move and update dispatch accordingly:

Report trailer damage:

Complete daily trailer location report:

Daily communication with our Dispatch on your progress, identifying problems and resolving them with the dispatch.
Qualifications and Skills

Clean abstracts and criminal search required:

1 years of shunting experience minimum:

3 years AZ commercial driving experience:

good verbal and written communication skills:

own/lease single axle and tandem shunt trucks:

able to work in a fast paced environment:

able to provide a good driver/shunter pool for absences and vacation coverage
