The HR Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition Specialist with administrative duties.

This position is based out of Surrey, and the working hours are Monday to Friday and on average of 5 hours a day.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist with creating and posting job advertisements on job boards.
  • Screen resumes based on defined job description requirements.
  • Schedule interviews, as needed.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist with conducting screening interviews.
  • Assist with the reference check process and other background checks, as needed.
  • Assist with the international recruitment process by screening resumes, posting, and updating advertisements, preparing and collecting data for Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIA), and any other related administrative duties.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist with job fairs and other recruitment events.
  • Assist with administering assessments, as per current recruitment process.
  • Create reports, as needed.
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews, as per our current procedures.
  • Act as a backup for the Talent Acquisition Specialist in their absence.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A minimum of 6 months of work experience as a recruiter coordinator or in a related field.
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like screening resumes, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Competent in Applicant Tracking System and Microsoft programs.
  • Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Great teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail and great organizational skills.

Compensation package:

- $20-25 per hour based on experience

  • Monday to Friday 5 hours per day
