Duties:
Responsible for the registrationof all In-Patient, Emergency, and Out-Patients. Handles and directs incoming phonecalls to the hospital. Completes admissions, dischargesand their related functions. Responsible for completingspecific billings and records of transactions, in compliance with existingfinancial policies and procedures. Responsible for scanning recordsinto Epic. Supports and demonstrates themission, vision and values of the Organization. Other duties may be assigned andmay not be limited to the scope of an individual department.Qualifications:
Completion of a Medical OfficeAdministration Diploma or equivalent. Medical Terminology course preferred. Experience in electronic medicalrecords systems an asset. Relevant healthcare and/orregistration experience preferred. Computer literacy and currentcomputer experience and familiarity with basic computer applications (i.e. MSWord, MS Excel) required. Exceptional interpersonal,communication, and customer service skills in dealings with the publicrequired. Ability to work well with othersin a team approach, and adapt to changing situations required. Ability to maintain staff, patientand resident confidentiality. Exceptional Attendance required. Must agree to adhere to DRDHstandards of behaviour.
