This role will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.

This role will be working closely with the wider marketing and creative departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.
  • Manage social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute athlete marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize digital PR tactics to enhance brand visibility and reputation online through product seeding, ambassador programs, and press releases.
  • Identify and engage with athletes, own the athlete program to amplify our reach and impact.
  • Monitor social media trends and content analytics to optimize content and performance.
  • Create compelling copy and content for social media posts, YouTube/ TikTok shorts, and other digital platforms.
  • Maintain a social media content calendar and schedule posts accordingly.
  • Foster a sense of community among our followers by actively engaging with comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a social media coordinator or specialist for 3+ years within the outdoor industry
  • Experience in creating social media strategies & campaign launches across the digital sphere
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of brand and ability to communicate our tenets through a variety of online functions
  • Ability to craft engaging content and understand what content is most effective
  • Attention to detail when briefing relevant parties on content needs
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools
  • Prior experience in digital PR, including media relations, and ambassador programs
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing or related field
  • Valid work visa
