Summary

Main Responsibilities include.

CACME Audit process and reporting

  • Lead the design, strategy, communication (bilingual), and implementation of program audits in collaboration with partners at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Conduct audit of CACME accredited CPD office program reviews, providing constructive and relevant feedback in alignment with the Mainpro+ certification standards
  • Ensure timely completion of all steps in audit process including communication of timelines to impacted university CPD offices, CACME Secretariat, and internal CFPC colleagues.
  • Responsible for the completion of the audit of 3 to 5 schools per calendar year (3 to 5 programs per school)

Stakeholder Training

  • Support the creation and implementation of training materials for providers, Mainpro+ reviewers, university CPD offices and chapters.
  • Lead French language training by, developing, and hosting webinars and providing individual training and consultation on Mainpro+ certification standards.
  • Develops and delivers presentations for the National CPD Accreditation Conference.

Technical Lead, website, AODA compliance

  • Ensure all information related to Mainpro+ certification is up to date on
  • Provide directions with respect to website layout and performance.
  • Collaborate with relevant communications team members to ensure AODA compliance for all Mainpro+ certification documents shared on

Other projects and support

  • Represents the CFPC CPD team on the Quebec Counsel for Continuing Professional Development of Physicians (Conseil)
  • Communicate relevant information about CFPC policies to the Conseil as well as summarizes Conseil meetings and decisions for CPD leadership.
  • Supports the organization and development of the National CPD Accreditation Conference.
  • Provides translation verification reviews for Mainpro+ certified programs.
  • Represents the CPD department on relevant internal and external working groups as needed.

  • Ensure effective and professional communications with all internal and/or external contacts.
  • Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the CFPC Values in Action.
  • Contribute to delivering the overall work plan of the department and strategic goals of the CFPC.
  • Participate in the development and/or execution of special projects as required.
  • Participate in the onboarding of new team members as required.
  • Support the team and collaborate with colleagues to ensure departmental needs are met including absence coverage and crosstraining as required.

General Management Duties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in arts & science, Business, Education, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in a professional environment in certifications
  • Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas and opinions clearly and effectively in English and French.
  • Bilingualism in French
  • Advanced Customer service, public speaking, project management, presentation, organizational skills.
