Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Team Leader is to maximize revenue and conversion rates generated by their team across phone and online channels. Success will be measured based on the performance of North America sales aligning with company goals. This fully remote role involves overseeing a remote team with occasional in-person meetings 3-4 times annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop long-term strategic initiatives to surpass annual revenue targets for North America.
  • Offer valuable insights to senior leaders regarding commercial pricing, market trends, and product requests.
  • Establish partnerships with departments such as Product, Marketing, and Commercial to enhance lead quality and quantity.
  • Analyze team performance data to identify sales opportunities and take appropriate actions.
  • Execute performance management processes including regular meetings, development reviews, and setting quarterly objectives.
  • Recruit and train new team members, providing necessary support to help them achieve targets.
  • Handle and resolve booking-related issues effectively.
  • Act as a sales consultant when necessary, potentially working late shifts and weekends.
Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of the North American travel market.
  • Ability to create and execute a long-term sales strategy aligning with company objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching a remote team to achieve sales targets.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, excelling in customer service and attention to detail.
  • Capable of strategic sales coaching and crafting engaging training material.
  • Strong presentation skills and a proactive approach to change.
  • Action-oriented, autonomous decision-maker willing to get hands-on when needed.
