What You Will Be Doing
Key Accountabilities
The primary areas of responsibility include:
- Oversee Preventative Maintenance Program and Repairs for Ready-Mix Concrete Fleet, including Mixer trucks, Wheel-loaders, and various mobile equipment.
- Maintain fleet as per Provincial Regulations, including service records and applicable documentations.
- Oversee a team of mechanics, maintenance staff including Journeyman and Apprentices.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Would Like from You
- Journeyman Red Seal or Provincial Certification.
- Experience working in the Ready-Mix field is an asset.
- Supervisory experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency using diagnostic software.
- Experienced with Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic system repairs and maintenance.
- Class 5 license with clean Drivers Abstract required.
- Class 1 or 3 license with clean Drivers Abstract an asset.
- Follow and lead safe work practices.
- Physically fit with the ability to work in conditions which may include varying weather and heavy lifting (50 lbs / 23 kgs).
