The Opportunity
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented
Account Manager to join our team as a
remote employee in
Coquitlam, British Columbia.
As the Account Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with new and existing customers while working in a fast-paced environment.
Your performance will be measured by your ability to build and maintain long standing relationships, achieve customer satisfaction, and drive sales and profitability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Account Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Skillfully answer inbound sales calls and explain products, services and prices targeting the specific needs and interests of clients
- Utilize superior telephone sales skills to prospect for potential customers and build relationships with client accounts remotely using both warm and cold call lead sources
- Target and acquire new business by obtaining names and telephone numbers of potential customers from a variety of sources, including internet research and tradeshow attendance
- Maintain CRM records of leads, opportunities, quotes, and orders to ensure constant client contact through all stages of the sales cycle
- Manage client concerns or doubts to safeguard the company's reputation
- Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12 years of prior experience in a client services or telemarketing role with a proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas
- Postsecondary education in Business, Sales or Marketing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong negotiation skills
- Highly organized and a dependable selfstarter with excellent time management skills
