Job Summary:

As an Inside Sales Representative, your main task is to convert customer inquiries into product and service orders and meet set sales objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming sales calls and customer queries
  • Assess customer needs and available inventory to provide prompt and accurate responses
  • Record any deviations in order requirements and verify them
  • Provide detailed and accurate quotations to customers promptly
  • Follow up on quotations directly with customers or with the support of the outside sales team
  • Ensure timely order processing to meet customer delivery deadlines
  • Source and obtain necessary products from suppliers at optimal costs and quality levels
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
  • Enhance sales productivity and product knowledge continuously

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Sales Experience: Minimum 5 years in Pipe, Flange, Fitting, Valve, or energy industry
  • Product Knowledge: Proficiency in Pipe, Flange, Valves, Fitting, or energy industry
  • Industry Experience: Background in Mining, industrial, oil field, project supply, or fabrication areas
  • Professional conduct with a focus on customer service
  • Excellent communication, organizational, technical, and product skills
  • Proficient in technology, especially Excel and ERP software
  • Strong analytical, time management, and organization abilities
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships
