Customer Service/Call Center Representative - Resolution

We are excited about your interest in joining the team at Amynta Group. As a Customer Service/Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, which may include retailers and business partners. Your duties will involve providing information, handling forms, assessing claim status, and striving to meet or exceed departmental metrics for call management, productivity, and quality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist consumers with top-notch customer service while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from customers, ensuring satisfaction through follow-up communication.
  • Evaluate protection plans and service requests to determine appropriate actions for claim resolution.
  • Communicate with retailers, technicians, and customers to gather relevant claim information.
  • Process standard claims and provide customers with necessary feedback.
  • Negotiate settlements within cost parameters and handle escalated consumer issues calmly and informatively.
  • Support both internal and external customers throughout the claims and call center processes.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably minimum 1-year customer service experience in a call center setting.
  • Prior office or customer service background is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is a must.
  • Additional post-secondary education is desirable.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency in English language (written and verbal).
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Strong computer skills, including data entry and knowledge of various software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with good time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the company's positive image.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role is situated within a professional office and call center environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position typically involves typing, talking, writing, hearing, seeing, and repetitive movements. It is classified as sedentary work, primarily involving sitting. The job may require exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
