Cool things you'll do:

As a MongoDB Technical Services Engineer, you'll work with our largest customers, addressing a variety of database-related challenges. From architecture to security, you'll be the go-to expert for running MongoDB effectively at scale. You'll advocate for customer needs, collaborate with product teams, and mentor new members while exploring new product lines within the MongoDB ecosystem.

We are seeking candidates for our hybrid work model based in Vancouver, Canada.

What you need:

If you have 7+ years of experience and a passion for continuous learning, we want to hear from you. Key qualifications include:

  • Systems engineering expertise, including Linux, networking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of networking protocols and storage engineering
  • Experience with mission-critical database systems and performance analysis
  • Ability to handle real-time problem-solving and collaborate effectively
  • Desire to learn new technical skills rapidly and work well in a team
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with authentication systems and cloud services like AWS or Azure
  • Familiarity with MongoDB, distributed version control systems, and git
Success Measures:
  • Within 3 months, you'll become proficient in MongoDB and complete training
  • By 6 months, you'll handle frontline customer interactions and earn certification
  • Within 12 months, you'll be a technical expert within MongoDB, assisting peers and handling escalations
