Job Description Summary:
The Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible to assist with tactical marketing activities associated with BD Canada.

The role will work as part of a cross functional and collaborative team that is responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy.

The marketing operations coordinator will gain valuable skills in developing competencies in marketing execution, communication, and business acumen. This role will focus on logistics, order-to-cash execution, supply chain and supporting administrative marketing tasks.

  • The BD Medication Management Solutions (MMS) business combines proven technology with actionable intelligence to prevent medication errors, improve clinician productivity, increase predictability of medication availability, and improve organizational financial performance. At almost every point in the acute or nonacute medication use or management process, safety, efficiency, and costs can be favorably impacted with BD Pyxis, BD Alaris, BD Rowa Dose, BD Pyxis MedBank, Parata MedKeeper and BD HealthSight solutions.


This role is responsible for supporting marketing and channel partners in administrative areas, and will report to the marketing leader for the BD Medication Management Solutions business.


Summary
The Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible to assist with tactical marketing activities associated with BD Canada.

The role will work as part of a cross functional and collaborative team that is responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy.

The marketing operations coordinator will gain valuable skills in developing competencies in marketing execution, communication, and business acumen. This role will focus on logistics, order-to-cash execution, supply chain and supporting administrative marketing tasks.

Responsibilities

Logistics & Forecasting:

  • Working with Product Manager, to establish and communicate timely forecasting to appropriate channels
  • Managing local inventory in service depots to ensure efficient & timely delivery of products
  • Ensure the supply chain operates to meet the needs for all of BD's customers on a consistent basis. Key performance measures of this could include line fill, future days' supply, inventory turns and forecast accuracy
  • Accountable for maintaining minimum on hand inventory to meet required service levels, in addition to driving reduction of excess & obsolete inventories and providing solutions to decrease writeoffs.

Order-to-cash:

  • Maintain expert knowledge of systems, stakeholders and processes for Pharmacy Automation ordertocash workflows to support order execution
  • Working with Product Manager to establish process for consumable order management
  • Creation and maintenance of product part numbers and associated pricing in BD systems

Skills and Competencies

  • Adept in Technology
  • Technological skills necessary to perform data entry, including ability to input data into a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Ability to plan strategically / Prioritizing of tasks in order of importance or planning out processes for the entire team.

  • Ability to adapt get job done quickly resourceful in getting tasks done through multitasking and creative thinking skills, ability to be resourceful in exploring other avenues to reach a solution.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 35 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with SAP or similar system.

Education and Training

  • University Degree in Business, Operations or similar field.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a Hybrid role that requires you to be at your assigned worksite 3 days out of the week and up to 2 days from home. Local policies may apply. BD may change your work arrangement based on business needs.
