Role Responsibilities

3D CAD Modelling - Oversee and manage Al-Pac's Plant 3D system. Develop and sustain templates, catalogues, specifications, and provide support to other users.

3D Scanning
  • Manage scanning projects for maintenance and projects. Administer the cloud scan database (user access, project creation, organization, scan and data uploads/downloads).

Engineering Design and Drafting
  • Generate 3D models and 2D drawings collaboratively and independently.

Drafting Procedures and Training
  • Establish, update, and lead drafting procedures/training.

Document Control
  • Collaborate for proper document control of drawings and engineering records.

Role Requirements
Proficient AutoCAD Plant 3D operator.

Considered an asset:

  • Diploma in an Engineering Technology program related to Design/Drafting.
  • ASET registration.
  • Familiarity with other AutoCAD programs (Inventor, etc).
  • 3D scanning and cloud storage knowledge.
  • Piping design and B31/ABSA codes understanding.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Plant.
  • Proficiency in engineering, project documentation, and records management.
  • Strong prioritization, independent work, time management, multitasking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service capabilities.
  • Adaptive to change, effectively handling pressure and changing timelines.
  • Precision in task execution.
