Whether new homes, shops, workplaces, schools and hospitals, manufacturing, research and development facilities, or data and distribution centers. People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.
Role accountabilities:
Client relations Assign /coordinate responsibilities and duties engineers and technologists Project budgeting, project billing, assignment, review and approval on all project related expenditures, cost estimates and employee time Complete/review preliminary and detailed designs/drawings Complete/review progress claims Coordinate drafting and design schedules for projects Ensure that maintenance program is active for CCC/FAC Complete/review proposals Problem solving of design and construction issues Responsible for the overall management of 1-2 projects Responsible for the supervision, mentoring and coaching of 1 to 5 staff membersQualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years of experience in land development engineering. Direct experience with the design and approval process for projects with various municipalities Complete knowledge base for construction methodologies for land development projects Civil Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering Diploma. Membership in good standing with ASET or APEGA Have the professional designation of P.Eng or CETAdditional Information
