Intermediate Project Manager (SA&A), Ottawa


We are seeking an Intermediate Project Manager specializing in Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) to join our Government of Canada client's team in Ottawa.

This is a hybrid role requiring a secret security clearance.

Objective:

As part of our ongoing support for enterprise applications within the Defence Wide Area Network (DWAN), we need a skilled PM to manage the implementation of the DHRIM 3/MCSC Internet Portal and the CAF Recruiting Internet Portal.


Background:
Our team at DHRIM 3/MCSC develops and maintains custom software solutions critical to Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) operations.

These applications are designed to meet evolving CAF requirements and are accessed by up to 100,000 registered users on the DWAN.

Our current focus includes expanding access through the DHRIM 3/MCSC Internet Portal and the CAF Online Applicant Portal (OAP).

Responsibilities:


Manage the implementation and ongoing support of the OAP Internet portal and the DHRIM 3/MCSC Internet Portal, ensuring adherence to SA&A standards and DND security policies.

Lead one or more projects across the system development lifecycle, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budget, and performance metrics.
Oversee IT resources to ensure alignment with SA&A governance and facilitate compliance in data usage and sharing.
Collaborate with MCSC teams to share application insights and coordinate efforts effectively.

Requirements:
Post-secondary education in business or IT.
PMP designation.
Minimum 2 years of recent experience providing SA&A expertise in organizations with 10,000+ employees.
Experience managing SA&A governance for public-facing Internet portals in an agile environment.
Experience obtaining Authority to Operate (ATO) documents for Internet applications.
Familiarity with SA&A in production Internet environments.
Proven track record in developing and maintaining governance standard operating procedures.
Experience publishing SA&A guidance and project management artifacts via Microsoft SharePoint.
