The salary range for this position is CAD $52.CAD $65.Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Psychologist to join the Psychiatry In Patient in Powell River, BC.
Provides formal and informal consultations, participates in quality improvement and risk management activities.May provide clinical teaching, supervision and work direction to Psychology Residents, Post-Doctoral Fellowes and students as required, and on rotation, conducts and participates in research.

D. in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university.Two (2) years recent related experience in clinical psychology including therapeutic, diagnostic and consultation services, which may include experience working with individuals with a variety of psychological disorders in the designated clinical area.
Driver's license and possession of a personal vehicle with business insurance coverage when required.Knowledge of therapeutic, diagnostic and consultation techniques in the designated clinical area.
Knowledge of Trauma Informed Practice and Harm Reduction approaches and Strengths-based care.
Knowledge of adult education principles, methods and tools.
Knowledge of other health care disciplines and their role in client care.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with clients, families, team members, other groups and community agency personnel.
Basic computer literacy to operate a computerized client care information system and word processing, spreadsheet, Internet and e-mail software.
