Are you a dedicated Clinical Counselor looking to be part of a supportive and collaborative community? Lifemark is thrilled about our partnership with Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS), where we provide medical, psychosocial, and vocational rehabilitation services nationally.

Your role will have a significant impact on the lives of Canadian Veterans and employees seeking mental health support. You will work within an interdisciplinary team environment, focusing on a biopsychosocial approach to intervention, alongside professionals such as psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists.

If you appreciate working with a diverse adult population and using evidence-based psychotherapy methods, this position is for you. You will offer counselling services to clients referred by different organizations for psychosocial issues related to injury, trauma, and mental health conditions.

Embrace a goal-oriented therapeutic approach to alleviate distress and enhance social and occupational functioning. Maintain quality reporting and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.

Licensing:

  • Must have a Master's degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
  • Registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counselors

Experience in case conceptualization and treating various mental health symptoms in adults is required. Training in cognitive behavioural therapy approaches is essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgement, and integrity.
