Intern Analyst you will:

  • Provide assistance and support to both the Investments and Asset Management teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of property valuations and the calculation of investment returns, as well as assist with external client and internal property and Fund reporting requirements.
  • Provide general asset management support including the financial analysis of potential leases, cash flow projections, redevelopment projects and financing alternatives as well as other portfolio management analysis.
  • Assist with the underwriting, due diligence and over all process of completing new acquisitions and dispositions including the preparation of Investment Committee and client reports.
  • Gather and evaluate economic and market data.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and special assignments at the broader corporate level as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Intern Analyst position is geared towards students who are in their third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree or working towards their Masters with a focus on real estate, commerce, or finance. We are seeking students with a strong academic and extracurricular track record, who are looking to build and grow their career with us in the world of real estate. Previous professional co-op experience in real estate is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with ARGUS real estate software an asset

  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure; dealing with changes and interruptions while maintaining strict deadlines
