**Responsabilités**
- Procéder à l'installation initiale du laboratoire conformément aux horaires et aux exigences du laboratoire.
- S'assurer de la bonne utilisation du matériel et des équipements de laboratoire.
- Monter, démonter et s'assurer du bon fonctionnement de certains équipements de laboratoire.
- S'assurer du bon déroulement des travaux des étudiants au laboratoire.
- S'assurer que le matériel utilisé par les étudiants est bien approprié par rapport à leurs besoins.
- Sur approbation du FSO en physique, adapter, construire et, à l'occasion, concevoir de l'équipement de laboratoire.
- Mettre à jour et maintenir des dossiers détaillés des préparations et des procédures de laboratoire. Observer les détails et conserver des enregistrements précis des expériences et des résultats.
- Préparer le matériel, mettre en place des laboratoires et participer à des activités de sensibilisation (portes ouvertes, visites d'élèves du secondaire, etc.).
- Commander, recevoir, cataloguer et entreposer les fournitures, le matériel et l'équipement ; maintenir des inventaires, en s'assurant que des quantités adéquates sont disponibles pour une utilisation pédagogique en temps opportun.
- Assurez-vous que l'équipement de physique est maintenu dans un état propre et sécuritaire. Cela inclut, mais n'est pas limité à : l'inspection de l'équipement pour des signes de dommages avant et après utilisation, la mise hors tension de l'équipement électrique pour les tests de routine des appareils portables.
- Effectuer des réparations mineures sur l'équipement et organiser les réparations majeures par l'intermédiaire du superviseur.
- Fournir un soutien technique aux instructeurs de laboratoire (dépannage, mise à disposition de matériel). Observer ou assister à des réunions hebdomadaires prélaboratoires si nécessaire.
- Aider à faire la démonstration des procédures de laboratoire pendant les réunions hebdomadaires pré-laboratoires.
- Aider à la surveillance des examens de laboratoire au besoin
- Appuyer la mise à l'essai et l'élaboration de nouveaux protocoles, techniques, instruments et autres.
- Aider le FSO en physique à planifier les expériences.

**Qualifications**
- Au minimum un diplôme d'études post-secondaire avec une spécialisation en physique.
- Un minimum de 1 ans d'expérience avec les techniques et l'équipement utilisés dans les cours universitaires d'introduction en physique est exigé ou l'équivalent.
- Maîtriser l'utilisation d'une large gamme d'équipements et d'équipements de laboratoire. (Exemples : Ordinateurs, logiciels, capteurs, circuits électriques, spectromètre, multimètre et compteurs LRC,etc.).
- Bonnes compétences en organisation et en gestion du temps.
- Très bonne capacité de travailler en équipe.
- Très bonne connaissance des outils informatiques, notamment MS Office et Google suites. Des connaissances en latex et python sont un atout ;
- Posséder de bonnes aptitudes à communiquer en français et en anglais (à l'oral et à l'écrit).
- Une connaissance du milieu académique est un atout.
